![]() ![]() ![]() Again, I can live with that as I mostly use keyboard shortcuts to adjust my system volume anyways, but it is annoying. Just the slider though - ReplayGain and Preamp work perfectly, but the slider doesn't change the volume at all. Biggest problem I had is that the volume slider within foobar does fuck all.As I like layout with only a peak and VU meter I haven't had a problem with it. Seriously - if you're one of the guys who like having every visualization showing it might be annoying. Some stuttering when using it with a lot of visualizations and the rest of the system under load. Not a big deal, but it can be annoying loading the music up again, installing extensions and setting up your layout if you didn't save it. Once (and only once in about a year of use) Foobar wouldn't start no matter what I did and I had to reinstall it.slow startup time compared to other similar apps and Foobar on Windows (it takes a couple of seconds, nothing horrible).I've been using Foobar2000 on my linux PC for a while and it works great - including extensions, but there are some issues: ![]() I have it Foobar through wine separately, as I once had a problem with it and decided to remove an unknown variable in case it happens again. (In case you're new to Linux, Ubuntu(which is Debian-based) overall is a bit easier to use then Debian so you might want to give it a shot too.) On Ubuntu you can download Foobar2000 from the Ubuntu Software Center now, which is really easy. ![]()
